ANDOVER PRIMARY SCHOOL
Andover Primary has 350 learners and 13 educators. Adjacent to a private game lodge, children can actually see wildlife walk pass their classroom windows. The irony is that for most if not all of these children, this is as close as they will ever get to a safari.
School Motto: “Education is Power”
Mission: Working in partnership with the community to ensure that all learners receive the best education.
+ Dress Code / production house
Dress Code was established in 2007. Our tight-knit team of directors, producers, designers, illustrators, animators, writers and editors is led by Andre Andreev and Dan Covert. Our work has still been recognized by SXSW, The Webby Awards, Vimeo Staff Picks, Short of the Week, AFI Docs, Seattle International Film Festival, ADC Young Guns and ... ok, we will stop bragging now.
We were very impressed by the illustrations by the kids at Andover. The key symbols that kept coming up in their drawings were an eagle, soccer ball and stars. We chose the eagle as the focal point because its visually powerful and unique to Andover. We added the stars above on top of the crest to symbolize winning and accomplishment. Choosing the color was easy given the fact it appeared in almost all of their sketches, signage and environment. The bold blocky typography comes straight from a photograph of the school sign. We hope is to inspire the kids of Andover to many victories and give their school pride!
